After being inspired by some of the great photography I've found on this site, I eventually splashed out and bought myself a digital SLR - a Nikon D50 to be precise, with a Tamron compact zoom lens.

I was hoping to recapture some of the fun I had years ago with a real SLR! What I'd forgotton was just how much time can get swallowed up when you're behind the viewfinder, so I haven't been able to do as much as I would have liked.

One of the BIG differences between film and digital is, of course, that you end up taking a LOT more frames with digital, which means a LOT more reviewing and - in my case - a LOT more deleting.. all of which takes up more time...

Anyway, over the past couple of months, I've been snapping away, shooting anything that moves and most of everything that doesn't. Out of the thousands of frames Ive taken, I've uploaded a few here that might be worthy of a few seconds of your to look at....
